APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL OFFICERS TO VILLAGE PANCHAYATS, PANCHAYAT UNIONS AND

DISTRICT PANCHAYATS UNDER THE TAMIL NADU PANCHAYATS ACT, 1994.

AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATIONS

[G.O.Ms. No.222, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (PR-1), 31st December 2020,

No. II(2)/RDPR/854(f-1)/2020.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 261-A of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994

(Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1994), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Rural

Development and Panchayat Raj Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/RDPR/687(d-1)/2016, published at page 1

of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 24th October 2016, as

subsequently amended.

2. The amendment hereby made shall come into force with eff ect on and from the 1st January 2021.

Aඕඍඖඌඕඍඖග

In the said Notifi cation, for the expression “until the 31st day of December 2020”, the expression

“until the 30th day of June 2021” shall be substituted.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 261-A of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu

Act 21 of 1994), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Rural Development

and Panchayat Raj Department Notifi cation No.II(2)/RDPR/687(d-2)/2016, published at pages 2 to 12 of

Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 24th October 2016, as

subsequently amended.

2. The amendment hereby made shall come into force with eff ect on and from the 1st January 2021.
