SECTION 2 OF THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT, 1960 (CENTRAL ACT 59 OF 1960),
AS AMENDED BY THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS (TAMIL NADU AMENDMENT), ACT, 2017

Under clause (dd) of section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (Central Act 59 of 1960), as
amended by the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Tamil Nadu Amendment), Act, 2017 (Act 1 of 2017), the Governor
of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi es that Jallikattu / Erudhuvidum Vizha may be conducted from 27th January, 2021 to
5th February 2021 in the place specifi ed below:-
