conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of

the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899), the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby reduces the duty chargeable

under the said Act to ﬁ fty percent in respect of instruments

of sale, lease or lease-cum-sale to be executed by Joint

Venture Companies promoted by State Industries Promotion

Corporation of Tamil Nadu in respect of industrial plots

situated in the Joint Venture State Industries Promotion

Corporation of Tamil Nadu Industrial parks formed by the

Joint Venture Companies promoted by State Industries

Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu with Private land

Owners, on the value set forth in such instruments.
