NOTIFICATION TO WITHDRAWAL FROM ACQUISITION OF LANDS

Under sub-section (1) of Section 48 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894) Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby stated to withdraw the Notifi cations under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act,

1894 (Central Act I of 1894), announcement made by Transport Department I (1), G.O.(Ms) No.146, Dt. 16-08-2012

of Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notifi cation No.234, dated the 16th August 2012 published at page(s) 1 and 2 of

Part II—Section 2, No.II(2)/TRA/511(a-1)2012, also published in 19.08.2012 dated Dhinamani, Makkalkural News papers

and under Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894), announcement made by Transport

Department I(1), G.O.(Ms) No.157, Dt. 24-09-2012 of Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notifi cation No.269, dated the

25th September 2012 published at page(s) 1 and 2 of Part II—Section 2 No.II(2)/TRA/615(d)/2012 also published in

28.09.2012 dated Namathu MGR, Dhina Bhoomi News papers.

Whereas the land / lands specifi ed in the Schedule below has / have been notifi ed under sub-section (1) of

Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894), in Transport Department I (1), G.O.(Ms) No.146

Dt. 16.08.2012 published at pages 1-2 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notifi cation No.234,

dated the 16.08.2012 and has / have been notifi ed under Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of

1894), in Transport Department I (1), G.O.(Ms) No.157 Dt. 24.09.2012 published at pages 1-2 of Part II—Section 2 of

the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notifi cation No.269, dated the 25.09.2012.

Now, therefore, under sub-section (1) of Section 48 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894),

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraw the said Notifi cations dated the 16.08.2012 published at pages 1-2 of

Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 16.08.2012 and dated the 25.09.2012 published

at pages 1-2 of Part II—Section 2.

I (1), G.O.(Ms) No.157 Dt. 24.09.2012 published at pages 1-2 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government

Gazette Notifi cation No.269, dated the 25.09.2012.

Now, therefore, under sub-section (1) of Section 48 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act I of 1894), the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws the said Transport Department I (1) G.O.(Ms) No. 146 dated the 16.08.2012

published at pages 1-2 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notifi cation No.234 dated the

16.08.2012 and Transport Department I (1), G.O.(Ms) No.157 Dt. 24.09.2012 published at pages 1-2 of Part II—Section 2 of

the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notifi cation No.269, dated the 25.09.2012 in so far as the said notifi cation relates

to the land specifi ed in the Schedule below.
