The following Notification of the Government of

India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, in Notification

No. I-14013/11/2021-IPS.I(E)(II), dated 06.08.2021 is

republished-

In subsequent to dismissal of WA No.1360/2014

vide Order dated 17.03.2017 of Hon’ble Madras High

Court, Madurai Bench filed by S/Shri P. Perumal,

S. Maheswaran and T. K. Rajasekaran against the Order of

Hon’ble Madras High Court, Madurai Bench, dated 29.10.2010,

in WP No. 3547/2006 filed by Shri N. Manivannan and in view

of disposal of WA No.871/2017 vide Order dated 20.09.2017 of

Hon’ble Madras High Court, filed by Shri S. R. Senthil Kumar

against Order dated 22.06.2017 in WP. No.11294/2017

filed by Dr. M. Sudhakar a Review Selection

Committee Meeting (RSCM) for promotion to the IPS of

Tamil Nadu Cadre was held on 09.04.2021. Accordingly,

this Ministry’s Notification No. I-14011/28/2017-IPS.I (I)

dt. 11.04.2018 is hereby superceded.

2. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by

sub-rule (1) of rule 9 of the Indian Police Service (Recruitment)

Rules, 1954, read with sub-regulation (1) of regulation 9 of the

Indian Police Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations,

1955, the President is pleased to re-notify the appointments

of the following members of Tamil Nadu Police Service to

the Indian Police Service against vacancies re-determined

by Government of India for Review Select List Year 2014 to

2017 and to allocate them to the Tamil Nadu Cadre under

sub-rule (1) of the rule 5 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre

Rules,1954:-
