No. 225/2021.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 13 of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973

(Central Act 2 of 1974), the High Court hereby appoints the following (i) 8 Deputy Tahsildars in Kallakurichi District

and (ii) 4 Tahsildars & 1 Deputy Tahsildar in Tenkasi District, to undergo Magisterial Training for a period of 120

days, from the date of assumption of charge and confers upon them the ordinary powers conferable under this Code

on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were earlier triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second

Class Magistrate.
