COMMERCIAL TAXES AND REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT

AMENDMENTS TO THE TAMIL NADU SOCIETIES REGISTRATION RULES, 1978.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 56 of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act 27

of 1975), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following Amendments to the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Rules,

1978:-

Aඕඍඖඌඕඍඖගඛ

In the said Rules,

(1) For rule 43, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

''43. Fees to be paid.— The fees payable for the several matters mentioned in the Schedule to the

Act shall be paid in cash or by demand draft or by electronic mode,''

(2) after rule 52, the following rule shall be added, namely:—

''53 Use of electronic records.—Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules-

(a) submission of application, notice and fi ling of documents;

(b) receipt of application, fi ling and maintaining of documents, acknowledgment of registration and

documents, issuing of certifi cate of registration and any communication thereof;

(c) receipt of fee and fi ne and refund of fee,

may also be made by electronic means''.
