COMMERCIAL TAXES AND REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT

AMENDMENT TO THE TAMIL NADU PARTNERSHIP (REGISTRATION OF FIRMS) RULES, 1932.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, (Central Act IX of 1932), the Governor

of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Partnership (Registration of Firms) Rules 1932:-

Aඕඍඖඌඕඍඖග

In the said Rules, after rule 19, the following rule shall be added, namely:-

''20. Use of electronic records.— Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules,—

(a) submission of application, statement, intimation or notice, fi ling of declarations or documents and furnishing of

particulars;

(b) acknowledgement of receipt of statements and documents and registration of fi rms; and

(c) receipt or payment of fees,

may also be made by electonic means''.
