WHEREAS, The Dhali Town Panchayat has passed a resolution to include the Kurumalai, Melkurumalai, Poochikottamparai

and Thirumoorthimalai settlement areas of Dhali-2 Revenue Village, which are contiguous, within its local limits;

AND WHEREAS, on the recommendation of the District Collector, Tiruppur, the Commissioner of Town Panchayats

has requested the Government to include the said local areas in the Dhali Town Panchayat;

AND WHEREAS, the said settlement areas of Dhali-2 Revenue Village do not form part of any other Panchayat Town;

Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (i) of clause (c) of sub-Section (3) of

section 3-P of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1920), the Governor of Tamil Nadu

hereby includes the following local area within the local authority of Dhali Town Panchayat:-

Revenue Village of Dhali-2

Full [Kurumalai Settlement Area, Melkurumalai

Settlement Area, Poochikottamparai Settlement

Area and Thirumoorthimalai Settlement Area]

Based on the above inclusion, wards will be divided for the next ordinary election.
