FIXING THE NUMBER OF COUNCILLORS TO BE ELECTED TO THE COUNCILS OF THE NEWLY CONSTITUTED

CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS OF SIVAKASI, TAMBARAM, EXPANDED CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION

OF NAGERCOIL AND 28 MUNICIPALITIES - ORDERS - NOTIFIED.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Sivakasi City Municipal Corporation

Ordinance, 2021 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 3 of 2021), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby fi xes the number of councillors

to be elected to the council of the Municipal Corporation of Sivakasi as forty eight (48), with eff ect on and from the

next ordinary election.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Tambaram City Municipal Corporation

Ordinance, 2021 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 5 of 2021), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby fi xes the number of councillors

to be elected to the council of the Municipal Corporation of Tambaram as seventy (70), with eff ect on and from the

next ordinary election.

the council of the Municipal Corporation of Nagercoil as fi fty two (52), with eff ect on and from the next ordinary election.
