Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes Subordinate Service

No. SRO B-1/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the constitution of India, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes

Subordinate Service (Section-4 in Volume III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

Amendment.

In the said Rules, in the Annexure, in the tabular column, in column (3), against the entry "1. Commercial Tax Officer" in

column (1) and against the entry "Promotion" in column (2) thereof, in clause (aa), after the expression "assessment circle",

the expression "(or) in Intelligence Wing" shall be inserted.

No. SRO B-2/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the constitution of India, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service

(Section—29 in Volume-III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual):-

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th July 2001.

Amendment.

In the said Special Rules, in rule 14, in the "Table", against the entry, "Category-1(d): Assistant Section Officer in the

Finance Department" in column (1) and the Corresponding entry "Recruitment by transfer from the category of Assistants

in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or the Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service" in column (2) thereof, for item (ii),

in column (3), the following item shall be substituted, namely :-

"(ii) Service for a period of not less than five years in the category of Assistant, inclusive of the services rendered in

the post of Junior Assistant, in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or in the Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service".
