2 OF THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT, 1960 (CENTRAL ACT 59 OF 1960), AS AMENDED BY
THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS (TAMIL NADU AMENDMENT), ACT, 2017 (ACT 1 OF 2017)
AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATION

In addition to the references mentioned in the said G.O. the following shall be inserted as Sl.No.3 :-
3. Government letter No.292/AH3.2/2022, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and
Fishermen Welfare Department, Dated.10.01.2022.
ii.
In the said Government Order in the paragraph under the title ‘Notifi cation’ the following phrase shall
be inserted after the phrase, ‘norms specifi ed in the Government Order 2nd’:-
“and Government letter 3rd ”
iii. The date 16.01.2022, wherever it occurs in the said Government Order shall be read as 17.01.2022.

hereby notifi es that Jallikattu may be conducted on 17.01.2022 in the places specifi ed below subject to the adherence of
the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for prevention of Covid-19 spread, norms specifi ed in the Government Order
1st and Government letter 2nd read above and by following the restrictions announced by the State/District Disaster
Management Authorities from time to time:-
