In supersession of earlier Notification issued in this matter for Chennai Corporation and published in the
Commissioner of Chennai Corporation Notification No.VI(2)/46(d)/2019 on pages 1-3 in Part VI – Section 2 of the
Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 24th May 2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred under
sub-sections (3), (4) and (5) of section 5 of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919 (Tamil Nadu Act IV of 1919)
and the powers delegated to the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai in G.O.(Ms.) No.133, Municipal Administration
and Water Supply (Election) Department, dated the 6th June 1996, published in Municipal Administration and Water
Supply Department Notification No.II/(2)/MW/1197(c-3)/96 at page 1 in Part-II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government
Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 6th June 1996 and based on the recommendation of Delimitation Commission and as
accepted by the Government, the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai hereby reserves the following divisions for the
persons belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Women in the Chennai City Municipal Corporation, as
specified in the Schedule below:—
