NOTICE UNDER SUB SECTION (1) OF SECTION 4 OF THE TAMIL NADU ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR
INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES ACT, 1997 (TAMIL NADU ACT 10 OF 1999)
WITHDRAWAL FROM ACQUISITION OF LANDS

Under the fi rst Proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act,
1997 (Tamil Nadu Act No.10 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws from acquisition of the lands specifi ed in
the Schedule below in respect of which notice under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the said Act was published by the Energy
Department in Notifi cation No.II(2)/EGY/212(k)/2019 at pages 1 to 2 of Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette
Extraordinary, dated the 8th March 2019 and actual possession of which was not taken by, or on behalf, of the Government.
