APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSION OF INQUIRY TO INQUIRE INTO THE CAUSES AND

CIRCUMSTANCES LEADING TO THE OPENING OF FIRE RESULTING IN DEATH AND INJURIES

TO PERSONS ON 22ND MAY 2018 AT THOOTHUKUDI UNDER THE COMMISSIONS OF

INQUIRY ACT.

AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry

Act, 1952 (Central Act LX of 1952), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment

to the Public (Law and Order-F) Department Notification No.II(2)/PULO/481(c)/2018, published at

pages 1-2 of Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the

23rd May 2018, as subsequently amended.

Amendment

In the said Notification, in paragraph 4, for the expression "forty five months", the expression

"forty eight months" shall be substituted.
