Forest under the Act.

No.II(2)/ECCF/134/2022.— In exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882

(Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the Governor of Tamil Nadu

hereby declares that it is proposed to constitute the land within

the boundaries specifi ed in the Schedule below as reserved

forest and appoints the Special Tahsildar (Forest Settlement),

Dindigul, ex-offi cio to be the Forest Settlement Offi cer to

exercise the powers under clause (c) of the said section in

respect of that area.

and 88 of No.52 Velayuthampalayam Village till it reaches the

trijunction point of Survey Numbers 87, 88 and 465B/1 of

No.52 of Velayuthampalayam Village.

South:- Thence, the southern boundary runs towards western

side along the northern boundary of No.79 Kampiliyampatti

(Dindigul East Taluk), 467, 468 of No.52 Velayuthampalayam

Village till it reaches the trijunction point of Survey Numbers

465B/1, 468 and 481 of No.52 Velayuthampalayam Village.

West:- Thence, the western boundary runs towards north

side along the eastern boundary of Survey Numbers 481,

482, 484, 485, 486, 489, 490, 491, 389, 392, 393, 394,

395, 400, 401 and 406 of No.52 Velayuthampalayam Village

till it reaches the starting point.

Enclosure:- Survey Number 466 to an extent of 0.74.50 Ha in

No.52 Velayuthampalayam Village patta land is situated in the

top of the hill.

of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the District Forest Offi cer,

Dindigul ex-offi cio to attend on behalf of the Government at

the enquiry prescribed under Chapter II of the said Act, in

respect of the land of Forest Block of Velayuthampalayam-I

proposed to be constituted as reserved forest.

Nelliyalam Village boundary and Survey Number 1/2 of

Cherumulli Village the boundary generally runs eastwards

along the southern boundary of No.9 Nelliyalam and

No.7 Nellakottai Villages and meets at the tri-junction of

No.1 Mudumalai Village boundary, No.7 Nellakottai Village

Thence, the boundary runs southeastwards along the
