Amendment to the Appointment of Chairman and Member Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board

Rules, 2019.

No. SRO A-9/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) of Section 64 of the Water

(Prevention and control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Central Act 6 of 1974), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in consultation with the

Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, hereby makes the following amendment to the Appointment of Chairman and Member

Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board Rules, 2019:-

In the said Rules, in rule 2, in sub-rule (4), in clause (b), the Serial Number 3A shall be modified as :-

”3A. Age limit “Must not have completed 60 years’’

Amendment to the Appointment of Auditor Rules

[G.O.Ms.No.76, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments (RE4-2), 29th March 2022

No. SRO A-10/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 116 read with sub-section(2)

of Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 1959), the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Appointment of Auditor Rules,1961.

Aඕඍඖඌඕඍඖග

In the said Rules, for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

“Audit of the accounts of all religious institutions and charitable endowments under the control of the Hindu Religious

and Charitable Endowments Administration department shall be done by the Hindu Religious Institutions Audit Department,

which is under the administrative control of Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.”.
