Amendments to the Special Rules for the post of Assistant Director of Translation for class XIII of the

Tamil Nadu General Service.

Tamil Development and Information (OP1.1),

No. SRO B-24/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for Class XIII of the Tamil Nadu

General Service. (Section 16 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

In the said special Rules, in the Annexure referred to in sub-rule (b) of rule 4, in the TABLE, in column (2) under the

heading "Method of appointment", against the category "3. Assistant Director of Translations" in column (1) thereof:-

(a) in item 1, for the expression "ten years" the expression "fi ve years" shall be substituted;

(b) in item 2 (b), for the expression "ten years" the expression "fi ve years" shall be substituted;
