NOTICE UNDER SECTION 15(1) OF TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001 (TN ACT 34 OF 2002) READ WITH THE
TAMIL NADU LAND ACQUISITION LAWS (REVIVAL OF OPERATION, AMENDMENT AND VALIDATION) ACT, 2019
No. VI(1)/199 (a-1)/2022.
The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands specifi ed in the schedule below are acquired under
Chennai – Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project for Highways purpose to wit for Strengthening and widening of SH-40,
Tiruchendur – Ambasamudram via Palayamkottai Road from KM 43/900 to KM 45/400 at Krishnapuram (Additional) Village
in Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be
awarded for the lands to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Divisional Engineer(H), Tirunelveli (CKICP),
Tamil Nadu after having considering the cause shown by the owner or other persons having interest on such lands as the case
may be do hereby publish the following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act,
2001 (TN Act 34 of 2002).
NOTICE
Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) read with the
Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws (Revival of Operation, Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019, the Governor of Tamil Nadu
hereby notifi ed that the Dry lands specifi ed in the schedule below and measuring to an extent of 222 sq.mtr., are acquired in
Krishnapuram (Additional) Village in Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, to the same, a little more or less is needed for
Chennai-Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project for State Highways purpose, to wit for strengthening and widening of SH-40,
Tiruchendur – Ambasamudram via Palayamkottai Road from KM 43/900 to KM 45/400.
The plan of the lands under acquisition are kept in the offi ce of the Special District Revenue Offi cer (Land Acquisition),
Chennai – Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, Tirunelveli and office of the Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition),
Chennai – Kanniyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, Tirunelveli which may be Inspected at any time during the offi ce hours.

The following amendment notifi cation for the Notifi cation already published in Government Gazette (Extraordinary issue)
No.138, dated 26.02.2021 in which the details published are correlate with each other except in Serial No.3, in S.No.38/2, the
Column 7 “Immovable Assets such as Structures, Wells, Trees etc lying on the acquisition extent” noted as “Vacant” instead of
many structures thereon, is issued as follows in Ayyampettai Village, Walajabad Taluk, Kanchipuram District for the purpose to
wit for widening SH-58-I Chengalpattu – Kanchipuram Road.
