In exercise of the powers conferred under section (1) of Section 43-B of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities

Act, 1920 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1920), sub section (1) of Section 10–D of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation

Act, 1981 (Tamil Nadu Act XXV of 1981) read with section 8 of the Thanjavur City Municipal Corporation Act, 2013

(Tamil Nadu Act 24 of 2013), section 8 of the Kancheepuram City Municipal Corporation Act, 2022 (Tamil Nadu Act 2

of 2022), and rule 22 of the Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations (Elections) Rules, 2006,

the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission, for the purpose of fi lling up of Ordinary/Casual vacancies in the offi ces of

the Ward Members/Councillors of Town Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations specifi ed in the Table annexed to

this Notifi cation, hereby calls upon the electors of the said wards to elect their respective Ward Members/Councillors of

Town Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations, in accordance with the following programme of election:-
