In the reference ﬁ rst read above, Thiru I. Jeyakumar, IRTS

(1997 Batch) Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Southern

Railway, Chennai has requested to give an opportunity to serve

Government of Tamil Nadu in any assignment as decided by

the competent authority. The Ministry of Railways has issued

no objection for deputation with Government of Tamil Nadu

for Thiru I. Jeyakumar, IRTS, Chief Freight Transportation

Manager, Southern Railway, Chennai.

2. The Government after careful examination considered

the request of Thiru. I. Jeyakumar, IRTS (1997 Batch),

Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Southern Railway,

Chennai and agreed to his deputation to the Government of

Tamil Nadu for the period of 3 (Three) years with pay protection.

3. The following posting is notiﬁ ed:-

Thiru I. Jeyakumar, IRTS (1997 Batch), Chief Freight

Transportation Manager, Southern Railway, Chennai is

posted as Special Oﬃ cer, Chennai Uniﬁ ed Metropolitan

Transport Authority (CUMTA), Chennai at the Pay Level-14

(i.e Rs.1,44,200 to 2,18,200) (7th Pay Commission) in the

newly created Post.

4. During the period of deputation, Thiru I. Jeyakumar,

IRTS is allowed to draw his pay in his time scale of pay,

allowances and entitlements as applicable to him in his parent

cadre and other perquisites as eligible to the post to which

he is posted.
