TRANSFER OF INVESTIGATION TO CBI UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE DELHI SPECIAL POLICE

ESTABLISHMENT ACT, 1946.

Under Section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (Central Act 25 of 1946), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby accords his consent enabling members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment to exercise the powers

and jurisdiction in the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu to investigate the following cases:-

i. Case registered in Cr.No. 04/2020 at CBCID Metro, Chennai under Sections 120-A, 120-B, 121 r/w Sections 464,

466,468,470,471,481,482,484,485,487 and 488 of the Indian Penal Code 1860 (Central Act XLV of 1860) 

ii. Case registered in Cr.No. 02/2020 at CBCID, OCU-I, Chennai under Sections 465, 468, 471 r/w Section 120-B of

the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act XLV of 1860)

iii. Case registered in Cr.No. 02/2020 at ATC CBCID, Chennai under Sections 462, 468,472 r/w Section 120-B of the

Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act XLV of 1860).
