Notifi cation of vacancies in the Academic Senate to be fi lled by Election of one teacher from each affi liated college

to be elected by the teachers of affi liated colleges from among themselves under Sec. 29, Class-II (f) in Chapter IV of

the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Act, 1996.

Whereas, the vacancies have arisen in the Academic Senate under Sec.29, Class-Il (f) in Chapter IV of the

Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Act, 1996 and which shall be fi lled up by election of one teacher from each

affi liated college at Thiruvallur, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Thirunelveli, Chengalpattu, Vellore, Villupuram, Dharmapuri,

Ramanathapuram, Salem (1 Govt. & 1 Private Law College), Namakkal, Theni, and Tindivanam Districts to be elected

by the teachers of the respective affi liated colleges from among themselves in the manner prescribed below:

Election of one member to the Academic Council of Madurai Kamaraj University

by the Teachers of Post-Graduate Colleges

It is hereby notifi ed that the following election will be held under Section mentioned hereunder as per the Madurai

Kamaraj University Act, 1965.

“Election will be held to elect ONE MEMBER to the Academic Council from each Post-Graduate College who is

not the Principal of such College elected by the Teachers of the College including Physical Directors but excluding the

Principal, Tutors, Demonstrators and Physical Instructors from among themselves under Section 24 (a) Class II-Other

Members (4) of the Madurai Kamaraj University Act, 1965. The Principals of the Colleges concerned are requested to

hold the election and communicate the result”.
