Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General sub-ordinate Service.

No. SRO B-42/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules, under Class XXXIX - Labour

Department of the Tamil Nadu General sub-ordinate Service:-

Amendment

In the said Special Rules, after rule 3, the following rule shall be inserted, namely :-

''3A. Reservation of Appointment - The reservation of appointments (General Rule 22)'', as Provided in Section 27 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)'' shall apply to appointments

by direct recruitment''.
