APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS IN THE EXISTING VACANCIES OF THE STATE HUMAN RIGHTS

COMMISSION UNDER THE PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS ACT.

In exercise of powers conferred under Section 22 (1) of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993

(Central Act 10 of 1994) as amended by Central Act 43 of 2006, the Governor of Tamil Nadu is pleased to appoint

Thiru Justice Raja. Elango, High Court Judge (Retired) and Thiru V. Kannadasan, Advocate, as Members of

the State Human Rights Commission, in the existing vacancies for a period of three years with effect from the

date of assumption of charge.
