Amendment to the Tamil Nadu Timber Transit Rules.

[G.O. Ms. No. 135, Environment, Climate Change and Forest (FR.12), 11th September 2023,

No. SRO A-32/2023.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 35 and 36 of the Tamil Nadu Forest

Act, 1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the

Tamil Nadu Timber Transit Rules, 1968: -

Amendment.

In the said Rules, in rule 2A, after the expression "rule 4," the following expression shall be inserted, namely:-

"or any electronic transit pass  /  No Objection Certificate generated through online National Transit Pass

System (http:/ntps.nic.in):''.
