TOURISM, CULTURE AND RELIGIOUS ENDOWMENTS DEPARTMENT

Amendment to the Adhoc Rules relating to the Post of Assistant Director in the Department of Tourism

in Tamil Nadu General Service.

No. SRO B-1/2023.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the adhoc rules published with the Information and Tourism

Department Notification SRO No. B-308/86 at pages 410 to 412 of Part III—Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government

Gazette dated the 23rd July, 1986.

Amendment

in the said Special Rules, in rule 5, in sub-rule (b), in the Table, in column (2), for the entry against "Promotion"

in column (1) thereof, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"(i) A pass in the Account Test for "Executive Officers.

(ii)

Must have rendered service for not less than one year as Assistant Tourist Officer or Tourist Officer in the

Tourist Officers or Tourist Information Centers under the control of Directorate of Tourism located outside

the State of Tamil Nadu".
