DEFINING OF CERTAIN AREA IN TIRUCHIRAPPALLI DISTRICT AND AUTHORISATION OF CARRYING OUT

PERIODICAL FIELD FIRING AND ARTILLERY PRACTICE UNDER THE ACT.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery

Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V of 1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby defines the area specified in the Schedule

below as an area within which the field firing practice may be authorised for a term of two and half years from the

date of issue of this notification under sub-section (2) of Section 9 of the said Act.

NOTICE

Under sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V

of 1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby gives notice of his intention to issue a notification under sub-section (2)

of the Section 9 of the said Act, authorising the carrying out of field firing practice throughout the area specified in the

Schedule below and notified under sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the said Act, or any part there of for a term of two

and half years from the date of notification to be issued under sub-section (2) of Section 9 of the said Act, after the

expiry of two months from the date of first publication of this Notice in the Official Gazette.
