Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government has given Administrative sanction that a total of Hec. 47.99.7

ares of land is required in Mayanur and Renganathapuram North Villages in Krishnarayapuram Taluk of Karur District to

construct a barrage across the River Cauvery away from 250 meter down stream of existing Kattalai Check Dam under

control of Government Scheme of Accelarated Irrigation benefi ts programme as per G.O. (4D) 91 Water Resource (K1)

Department dated.06.10.2022 by Private Negotiation or Right to Fair Compensation and Transperency in land Acquisition

and Resettlement Act 2013 where it is applied. The Barrage constructed and inaugurated by Honourable Chief Minister

of Tamil Nadu on 25.06.2014. There is no need of social impact assessment study under the Section 6(2) of Right to

fair compensation and Transperency in land Acquisition and Resettlement Act 2013. The requesting department has not

enterupon into the above lands. The Revenue Divisional Offi cer, Kulithalai has been appointed as Rehabilitation and

Resettlement Offi cer.

There it is notifi ed that for the above said scheme in Mayanoor Village of Krishnarayapuram Taluk in Karur district

extent Hec. 14.86.5 ares the details of which are specifi ed in the schedule below are under acquisition.

This Notifi cation is made under sub-division (1) of Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency

in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), to all whom it may concern.

The Land Plan schedule of the Scheme may be inspected in the Collector Offi ce, Karur. Taluk Offi ce, Krishnarayapuram

and Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department, River Conservancy Division, Trichy on any Working day during

the working hours.

The Government is pleased to authorize The Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department, Trichy, Tahsildar

Krishnarayapuram and his staff to enter upon a survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and

do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specifi ed in Section 12 of the said Act.

Under sub-section (4) of Section 11 of the said Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction

of land i.e sale/purchase, etc. or create any encumbrances on such land for the date of publication of the notifi cation

in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette without prior approval of the Collector.

Objections to the land acquisition if any, may be fi led by the person interested within 60 (sixty) days from the date

of publication of this notifi cation in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette as provided under Section 15 of the said Act

before the Collector.

Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government has given Administrative sanction that a total of Hec. 47.99.7 ares

of land is required in Mayanur and Renganathapuram North Villages in Krishnarayapuram Taluk of Karur District to construct

a barrage across the River Cauvery away from 250 meter down stream of existing Kattalai Check Dam under control of

Government Scheme of Accelarated Irrigation benefi ts programme as per G.O. (4D) 91 Water Resource (K1) Department

dated.06.10.2022 by Private Negotiation or Right to Fair Compensation and Transperency in land Acquisition and Resettlement

Act 2013 where it is applied. The Barrage constructed and inaugurated by Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on

25.06.2014. There is no need of social impact assessment study under the Section 6(2) of Right to fair compensation and

Transperency in land Acquisition and Resettlement Act 2013. The requesting department has not enterupon into the above

lands. The Revenue Divisional Offi cer, Kulithalai has been appointed as Rehabilitation and Resettlement Offi cer.

This Notifi cation is made under sub-division (1) of Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency

in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), to all whom it may concern.

The Land Plan schedule of the Scheme may be inspected in the Collector Offi ce, Karur, Taluk Offi ce, Krishnarayapuram

and Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department, Tiver Conservancy Division, Trichy on any Working day during

the working hours.

The Government is pleased to authorize The Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department, Trichy, Tahsildar,

Krishnarayapuram and his staff to enter upon a survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and

do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specifi ed in Section 12 of the said Act.

Under sub-section (4) of Section 11 of the said Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction

of land i.e sale/purchase, etc. or create any encumbrances on such land for the date of publication of the notifi cation

in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazatte without prior approval of the Collector.

Objections to the land acquisition if any, may be fi led by the person interested within 60 (sixty) days from the date

of publication of this notifi cation in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazatte as provided under Section 15 of the said Act

before the Collector.
