COMMERCIAL TAXES AND REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT

NOTIFICATION UNDER THE REGISTRATION ACT, 1908.

AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATION

[G.O. Ms. No. 28, Commercial Taxes and Registration [J2], 23rd March 2023,

No. II(2)/CTR/301(b)/2023.

Under Section 78 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Central Act XVI of 1908), the Governor of Tamil Nadu

hereby makes the following amendment to the Table of Fees published with the erstwhile Judicial Department

Notification No.177, dated the 30th March 1909 at pages 316-319 of Part I of the Fort St.George Gazette, dated the

30th March 1909, as subsequently amended.

2. The amendment hereby made shall come into force on the 23rd March 2023.

Amendment

In the said Table of Fees, after Article 4, the following Article shall be inserted, namely:—

''4A

Filing

a

Sale

Certificate

under

sub-section (2) or sub-section (4) of Section

89 of the Act.

Rupees eleven for every Rupees hundred

or part thereof on the market value of the

property.''.
