Amendment to the Special Rules for Class LXXIX of the Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service

[G.O. Ms. No. 273, Public (Establishment-II), 27th April 2023,

No. SRO B-15/2023.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for Class LXXIX of the Tamil Nadu

General Subordinate Service (Section 13 in Volume III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st December 2022.

Amendment

In the said Special Rules, for rule 4, the following rule shall be substitued, namely:-

''4. Qualification.- No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post unless he had passed VIII standard in a

recognized school."
