Amendment to the Adhoc Rules for the Redesignation of the Temporary post of Superintending Engineer (Electrical)

as Joint Chief Electrical to Tamil Nadu Engineering Service

No. SRO B-16/2023.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India,

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the rules published with the Public Works Department

Notification No. SRO-B-178/94 at page 166 of Part III-Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the

16th November 1994.

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 24th January 2018.

Amendment

In the said Rules, in rule 1, for the expression "Superintending Engineer (Electrical)", the expression

"Joint Chief Engineer (Electrical)", shall be substituted.
