In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu

Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 37 of 1987), the Chancellor hereby

appoints Dr. K. Narayanasamy, Dean, Government Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital, Kilpauk,

Chennai as the Vice-Chancellor of the said University for a period of three years with effect from the

date of his assuming office or till he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier.
