his parent department viz., Puducherry Judicial Service

From the Registrar General, Hon'ble High Court of

Madras, D.O. Letter No.12/2023-Con.B2, Dated 28.04.2023.

Order: No. 193, Public (Special-A), 18th May 2023.

The Government have considered the recommendation

of the Hon'ble High Court of Madras to depute

Tmt. G.T. Ambika, District Judge of Puducherry Judicial

Service, functioning in the Tamil Nadu State Judicial

Service as Judge, II Additional Special Court for Exclusive

Trial of Cases under N.D.P.S. Act, Chennai to her parent

service viz., Puducherry Judicial Service for being posted

as Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour

Court, Puducherry vice Tmt. V. Sofana Devi ordered to

be transferred.

2. The Government accordingly direct that

Tmt. G.T. Ambika, District Judge of Puducherry Judicial

Service, functioning in the Tamil Nadu State Judicial

Service as Judge, II Additional Special Court for Exclusive

Trial of Cases under N.D.P.S. Act, Chennai on deputation

basis be repatriated to her parent service viz., Puducherry

Judicial Service for being posted as Presiding Officer,

Industrial Tribunal -cum-Labour Court, Puducherry vice

Tmt. V. Sofana Devi ordered to be transferred.

consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to

transfer Ms. Justice V.M. Velumani, Judge of the Madras

High Court, as a Judge of the Calcutta High Court and to

direct her to assume charge of her Office in the Calcutta

High Court.
