WITHDRAWAL FROM ACQUISITION OF LANDS

Under the first proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws from acquisition of land specified

in the Schedule below in respect of which notice under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the said Act was published vide

Notification No.II(2)/IND/144(b-1)/2012 by the Industries (SIPCOT-LA) Department at pages 1-8 of Part II—Section 2 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 2nd March 2012 and actual possession of land was not

taken by, or on behalf of, the Government.
