ELECTORAL REGISTRATION OFFICERS - AUTHORISATION OF-NOTIFIED.]

In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 14 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules,

2023 and in supersession of the Notification No. 500 published at page 1 to 3 of Part VI-Section 2 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 23rd October, 2021 and of the Notification No.4 published

at page 1 of Part VI—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 3rd January 2022,

the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission hereby authorises the Executive Officer of the respective Town Panchayat or

the Commissioner of the respective Municipal Council or the Revenue Officer of the Chennai City Municipal Corporation

and the Commissioners of Municipal Corporation other than Chennai City Municipal Corporation or any other Officer,

as the case may be, as the Electoral Registration Officer, for the purpose of preparing and publishing electoral rolls

in respective of the Town Panchayat or the Municipal Council or the Municipal Corporation and in respect of the Wards in

their jurisdictions.
