TAMIL NADU MANUAL WORKERS (CONSTRUCTION WORKERS) WELFARE SCHEME, 1994, UNDER THE

TAMIL NADU MANUAL WORKERS (REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT AND CONDITIONS OF WORK) ACT, 1982.

AMENDMENTS TO NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and

Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory

Committee, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Construction Workers) Welfare

Scheme, 1994 namely:-

Amendments

In the said Scheme,–

(1) in clause 15,–

(a) in sub-clause (1), in the TABLE,–

(i) in Serial Numbers 8 and 9, in column (3), after the expression “(Every academic year)”, the expression

“(Except the professional courses in serial number 12)” shall, respectively, be added;

(ii) after the entries in Serial Number 11 and the corresponding entries relating thereto, the following Serial

Number and the corresponding entries relating thereto, shall be added, namely:-

(b) after sub-clause (3), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely:-

“(3-a) The application for assistance specified in Serial Number 12 shall be in Form EE (1) in Schedule II to be submitted

after successful admission or before completion or passing of the course.”;

(2) In Schedule II, after Form EE, the Form EE (1) shall be inserted, namely:-
