No. II(2)/ENG/804/2023.—In exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 70 of the Information

Technology Act, 2000 (Central Act 21 of 2000), the Governor

of Tamil Nadu hereby declares the following Critical

Information Infrastructure (CII) of the Tamil Nadu State

Load Despatch Centre and the computer resources of its

associated dependencies to be Protected Systems for the

purpose of the said Act:-

(a) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)

System.

(b) Unified Real Time Dynamic State Measurement

(URTDSM) System.

(SCADA) System of Renewable Energy Management Centre

(REMC).

(d) Scheduling, Accounting, Metering and Settlement

of Transactions (SAMAST System).

Further, under sub-section (2) of Section 70 of the

said Information Technology Act, 2000 (Central Act 21

of 2000), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby authorizes

the following personnel to access the Critical Information

Infrastructure (CII) of the Tamil Nadu State Load Despatch

Centre notified as Protected Systems:-

(a) Any designated employee authorised by the

Tamil Nadu State Load Despatch Centre;

(b) Any employee of contractual managed service

provider, consultant, third-party vendor or business partners

who have been authorised by the Tamil Nadu State Load

Despatch Centre for need-based access; and

Stakeholders authorised by the Tamil Nadu State Load

Despatch Centre on case to case basis.
