Amendment to the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules.

[G.O. Ms. No. 116, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (CJ2), 30th August 2023,

No. SRO A-30/2023.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1), (2) and (3) of section 180 of

Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes

the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, 1988:-

Amendment.

In the said Rules, in Schedule II, in Part A, under the heading “28. Tamil Nadu State LAMPS Co-operative

Federation”, in item (1), for the expression “elected by the delegates of all members of Large Sized Multi Purpose

Co-operative Societies and Apex Societies” occurring in three places, the expression “elected by the delegates of all

member Large Sized Multi Purpose Co-operative Societies and Apex Societies”, shall be substituted.
