conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 10 of the
Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971
(Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), the Governor of
Tamil Nadu hereby includes the following revenue

the following amendment to the Rural Development

ONo. II(2)/LWSD/886/2023.—WHEREAS, the Governor
of Tamil Nadu is satisfied that public interest requires
that the "Industry manufacturing steam generation
equipments like high pressure boilers, valves and
fittings,
pressure
vessels
and
package
boilers"
should be declared as a public utility service for the
purposes
of
the
Industrial
Disputes
Act,
1947
Central Act XIV of 1947);
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of Section
2 of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby
declares
that
the
"Industry
manufacturing
steam
generation equipments like high pressure boilers, valves
and fittings, pressure vessels and package boilers"
to be a public utility service for the purposes of the
said Act for a period of six months with effect on and
from the date of publication of this Notification in the
Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
