No. II(2)/ECCF/898/2023.—In exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act,

1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby declares that it is proposed to

constitute the land within the boundaries specified in

the schedule below as reserved forest and appoints the

Tahsildar (Forest Settlement) Thiruvallur, ex-officio, to be

the Forest Settlement Officer to exercise the powers under

clause (c) of the said section in respect of that land.

Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the District Forest Officer,

Chennai Division, Chennai ex-Officio to attend on behalf of

the Government at the enquiry prescribed under Chapter-II

of the said Act, in respect of the land of Jamin Pallavaram

Forest Block proposed to be constituted as reserved forest.

southern side of road No.2 for an area of 400 Sq.mt for

the temple and a approach path from Right No.2 (Road

No.2) to a length of 23 m and a width of 12 m is allowed.

Right No.8: Sivan koil and approach path

The sivan koil situated on the southern side of Right

No.2 (road No.2) for an extent of 100 Sq.mt (10x10

metres) with addition a pathway from road No.2 to a length

of 50 m and to a width of 10 m is allowed.

Right No.9: Maviliamman Koil and pathway

The Maviliamman Koil situated on the north east

corner in this forest block on the boundary for an area of

1600 Sq.mt (40x40m). In addition an approach pathway

from Right No.3 (Road No.3) to a length of 140.80 m with

a width of 10 m is allowed.

Right No.10: Surplus Weir (Kalingu)

The Existing 3 surplus weirs within the forest block

is allowed as right to use by the public and for any

maintenance the concerned authority has to get prior written

permission from the concerned District Forest Officer.
