Notice under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001

The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the schedule below are to be

acquired for public purpose to wit for the Construction of Elevated Highways along Avinashi Road in Coimbatore

City from Goldwins to Uppilipalayam in Kalapatti (West) Village of Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District and

it having already been decided that the amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands, is to be paid out of the

funds controlled and managed by the Chief Engineer, Highways (Nabard and Rural Roads), Chennai. The following

notice is issued under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002)

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of section 15 of Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the Governor

of Tamil Nadu, hereby acquires the lands specified in the schedule below measuring an extent of 3095.60 Sq.mtrs.,

to the same, a little more of less needed for the purpose of Construction of Elevated Highways along Avinashi

Road in Coimbatore City form Goldwins to Upplipalayam in Kalapatti (West) Village of Coimbatore North Taluk, in

Coimbatore District.

The plan of the lands is kept in the office of the Special District Revenue Officer (LA&M), South Taluk Office

Campus, Coimbatore-641 018 and may be inspected on and day during office hours.

1. In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act,

1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), Land use zone conversion from Agricultural (AG-57) Use Zone to Residential Use

Zone is ordered in G.O.(2D).No.201, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L.Re-1)] Department, dated: 21.08.2023.

2. In exercise of powers delegated by the Government in G.O.(Ms).No.102, Housing and Urban Development

[UD4(L.Re-1)] Department, dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the approved Master Plan of Salem

Local Planning Area approved in the G.O.(Ms).No.105, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)], dated: 22.03.2005

and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notification No. 14 at Page No. 168 of Part II—Section 2 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 13.04.2005.

Variation

In the Approved Salem Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of Salem

Local Planning Area, under heading Salem Taluk, Salem Panchayat Union, Kondamanayakkanpatti Village No. 32,

Page No. 96, the following entries of S.F.No. 48/1A, 49, 50 & 65 should be made accordingly.

Under the heading “MIXED RESIDENTIAL USE MR-39”, the expression S.F.No. 48/1A, 49, 50 & 65 shall be

added before the entry S.F.No.146 to 152.

Under the heading “AGRICULTURAL USE AG-57”, the expression S.F.No. 48 to 52 shall be deleted and the

expression 48 (Excluding 48/1A), 51, 52 shall be substituted. The expression S.F.No.65 shall be deleted.

Act 2 of 1974), the High Court hereby appoints the following (i) Thiru C. Vasudevan, Tahsildar in Kancheepuram District

(ii) 5 Deputy Tahsildars in Vellore District and (iii) 8 Deputy Tahsildars in Tiruvannamalai District as Special Judicial

Magistrates, to undergo Magisterial Training for a period of 120 days, from the date of assumption of charge and confers upon

them the ordinary powers conferable under this Code on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were earlier

triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate.
