AMENDMENT TO THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT, 2005.

No. II(2)/HRM/40(a)/2024.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 24 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act

22 of 2005), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Public Department Notification

No.II (2)/PUEL/778(c)/2005 published at page 1 of Par II- Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary,

dated the 14th October, 2005.

2. It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 14th October, 2005.

Amendment

In the said Notification, for Serial No.11 and the corresponding entries relating thereto, the following Serial No. and

the Corresponding entries relating thereto shall be substituted namely:-

“11.Cyber Crime Wing and its units, namely:- 

 

(i)

Cyber Crime Wing Headquarters, Chennai (comprising of State Cyber Command Centre,

State Cyber Crime Investigation Centre & Cyber Arangam);

(ii)

Cyber Regional Labs at Tamil Nadu Police Academy, Chennai City, Coimbatore City,

Madurai City, Trichy City and Crime Branch Criminal Investigation Department; and

(iii)

Cyber Crime Police Stations in Districts / Cities / Special Units [Economic Offences

Wing, Crime Against Women and Children, Crime (Narcotics Intelligence Bureau.CID /

Intellectual Property Right Enforcement Cell)].”
