AMENDMENT TO THE TAMIL NADU RIGHT TO FAIR COMPENSATION AND TRANSPARENCY IN

LAND ACQUISITION, REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT RULES, 2017.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 109 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land

Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby

makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2017, the draft of the same having been previously published as required under

section 112 of the said Act.

Amendment.

In the said Rules, in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), in clause (n), for sub-clause (i), the following sub-clause shall be substituted,

namely:-

“(i) the area (including Village Panchayats) lying in the territorial limits of the Chennai Metropolitan Development

Authority as on 19.10.2022.”.
