No.VI(1)/123/2024.

Whereas, it appears to the Government that a total of 21.86.95 hectares of land is required

in Senthamangalam East Village in Aravakurichi Taluk in Karur District for a public purpose,

namely, in Nanganjiyar Reservoir Project, Karur.

Now, therefore, a declaration is made hereby that a piece of land measuring 17.98.19

hectares is under acquisition for the above said project in the Senthamangalam East Village

in Aravakurichi Taluk in Karur District whose detailed description is as follows:

Survey Numbers of Lands to be acquired 558/A2 and others in Village Senthamangalam East, Taluk Aravakurichi,

District Karur, Area 17.98.19 (in hectares) Mines of coal, iron-stone, slate or other minerals lying under the said

land or any particular portion of the said land, except such parts of the mines and minerals which may be required to

be dug or removed or used during the construction phase of the project for the purpose of which the land is being

acquired, are not needed.

The Notification of this project can be viewed on any working day in the office of the Taluk Office, Aravakurichi,

Collector office, Karur and Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department, Nanganjiyar Division, Palani.
