registration of lease deed entered into between
the Madras High Court and Thakkar, Arulmigu
Kothanda Ramasamy Temple, Y.Othakadai, Madurai
under the Act.

No. II(2)/CTR/63/2024.—In exercise of the
powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of
Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act
II of 1899), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby remits
the duty chargeable under the said Act in respect of
instrument of lease executed between the Thakkar,
Arulmigu Kothanda Ramasamy Temple, Y.Othakadai,
Madurai (Lessor) and the Registrar General of the High
Court of Madras (Lessee) in respect of land measuring
6.51 acres of land at Narasingam 4th Bit Village, Madurai
East Taluk, Madurai District Comprising in survey numbers
159 and 160, for setting up of Court Buildings.
2. This Notification shall be deemed to have come
into force on the 27th day of August 2023.

No. II(2)/CTR/64/2024.—In exercise of the powers
conferred by Section 78A of the Registration Act,
1908 (Central Act XVI of 1908), the Governor of
Tamil Nadu is of the opinion that it is necessary
so to do, in the public interest hereby remits the fee
payable under the said Act in respect of the instrument of
lease executed between the Thakkar, Arulmigu Kothanda
Ramasamy Temple, Y.Othakadai, Madurai (Lessor) and
the Registrar General of the High Court of Madras
(Lessee) in respect of land measuring 6.51 acres of
land at Narasingam 4th Bit Village, Madurai East Taluk,
Madurai District Comprising in survey numbers 159 and
160, for setting up of Court Buildings.
2. This Notification shall be deemed to have come
into force on the 27th day of August 2023.

No. II(2)/CTR/66/2024.—In exercise of the powers
conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 9
of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899),
the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following
amendments to the Notification No.II(2)CTR/345/2023
published in page 326 of Part II—Section 2 of the
Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.14, dated 05.04.2023:-
Amendments
(a)
For the expression "Rs.80,00,000/- (Rupees Eighty
Lakh Only)" appearing in the said notification,
the expression "Rs.1,10,00,000/- (Rupees One
Crore and Ten Lakh Only)" shall be substituted.
(b)
For the expression "31st March 2024" appearing
in the said notification, the expression "30th
September 2024" shall be substituted.

the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services Department in
the ranks of Leading Fireman (Special Station Officer),
Leading Fireman, Driver Mechanic (Special Station Officer
(Transport), Driver Mechanic, Fireman Driver (upgraded
Driver Mechanic) and Fireman (Upgraded Leading Fireman)
have been awarded with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's
Fire Service Medal on the occasion of the Pongal Day,
