ACQUISITION OF LANDS

NOTICE UNDER SUB-SECTION (1) OF SECTION 15 OF THE TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001
No. VI(1)/ 188(c)/2024.
The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the Schedule below are to be
acquired for highways purpose to wit for the Widening of SH-115 Cheyyur - Vandavasi - Polur Road (From 80/600 Km
to 81/400 Km) under Chennai - Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Project in 155. Chetpet-I (Addl.) Village, Chetpet
Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and it having already been decided that the amount of compensation to be awarded
for the lands are to be paid out of the funds controlled or managed by the Divisional Engineer, Vandavasi (CKICP),
Tamil Nadu. The following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001
(Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).
NOTICE
Under sub–section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001(Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) the Governor
of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the lands specified in the Schedule below measuring an extent of 71 Sq.mtrs to the same
a little more or less needed for highways purpose to wit for the Widening of SH-115 Cheyyur - Vandavasi - Polur Road
(From 80/600 Km to 81/400 Km) under Chennai - Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Project in 155. Chetpet-I (Addl.) Village,
Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.
The plan of the lands are kept in the Office of the Special District Revenue Officer (L.A), Chennai-Kanyakumari
Industrial Corridor Project, Kanchipuram and in the O/o Special Tahsildar, (Land Acquisition), Chennai-Kanyakumari
Industrial Corridor Project, Cheyyur Unit @ Southupakkam in Chengalpattu District may be inspected on any day during
office hours.
