In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the Waqf Act, 1995,

(Central Act 43 of 1995), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby appoints, Dr. Darez Ahamed, I.A.S.,

Secretary to Government, Special Programme Implementation Department, as Chief Executive Officer of the

Tamil Nadu Waqf Board on full additional charge.
