In Tiruchirappalli District, Srirangam Taluk, Thorakudi Village, 6.48.80 Hectares of additional land has been required
for public purpose namely Cauvery-Vaigai-Gundar interlinking Flood Carrier Canal project. For the above purpose,
06.03.15 Hectares of additional Patta Lands in Thorakudi Village is to be. acquired, for which, Preliminary Notification
u/s 11 (1) has been published on 03.02.2024 The Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirangam is appointed as Administrator for
the purpose of Rehabilitation and Resettlement. The Draft Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme for the project is given
below:
