to acts of terrorism and offences against the State,

activities of gangsters, gun mafias, counterfeiters,narcotics

offenders and smugglers and shall investigate offences

prejudicial to national security and interest, public safety

and order, tranquillity or any other offences under the

relevant Acts.

The power of the Anti Terrorism Squad police stations

specified in column (2) of the Table above to investigate

the Scheduled offences under the National Investigation

Agency Act, 2008 (Central Act 34 of 2008) shall be

subject to the provisions of section 6 of the said Act.

No. II(2)/LWSD/286/2024.—In exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers

(Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act,

1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby makes the following amendment to

the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Construction Workers)

Welfare Scheme , 1994:-

Amendment.

In the said Scheme , for the expression "17-B

Supply of food at free of cost at Amma Canteens

to the registered construction workers", the expression
